After we installed Mambot, just write in the rich text editor with command:
| Code: |
| {play}songTitle.mp3{/play} |

I am not seeing an MP3 player there. Am I missing it? Also where is it playing mp3 from? Your server? Is it just one song or can you have it play a random mp3 from a list of files?

Mp3 was my old article; that's why you can't see it at the front page. Any way you still can link it: http://singachea.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=27&Itemid=2
The ease about it is its code to embed in the article. We can write one tag for one song only. Actually I want to install other mod/ com from Joomla that are able to play randomly, but my site is slow and has small bandwidth. I hope i can play the random one in your site soon

Hmmm, slow may be because you are in Singapore and the server is in USA?
1.5GB is not small at all. Believe me, you will not used it all for just sharing a few tens of songs.
How much have you used for the past month? You can actually check the badwidth in your cpanel

Hey brother, I just test one or two song only, and it took to 150 MB already. Most songs I like are MP3 and usually one takes bandwidth around 5 to 6 MB. If the visitors grow, it's surely not be able to play the random one.

can that mp3 player play wma format? It's lower quality but smaller size.
Otherwise, you could always host your mp3 with free host site and point to it

Yes using a separate host is a good idea....I do it here
http://hand.po.gs/music/
If you have nero or another means (thompson player) then try mp3pro
gives good streaming quality ... the above samples are all at 56kb/s so ok even on good dial up.
have fun
