develop software for phone how to?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if I could create simple application for my own phone i.e. sony ericson 800i ?

I want to create birthday checker like this> http://www.cambodiaxp.com/flash-experiment-movie18.html

any suggestion is appreciated.

Have to ask my dude; he like mobiles. In last project, he used J2ME.

woo.. any easier package to do than that? heard of WAP thingy and xml application just for phone.

the above birthday checker, can it be done easier than going full scale j2me?

I see some of the phone symbian series 60 are supported flash lite 1-1. so we can use flash application.
