Three top ways to earn better with adsense and YPN

I think the most important way to increase your earning are:

1- Traffic
No doubt without web traffic, there will be no visitor wanting to click on the cotextual ads and hence no revenue earn. Hence, I think the most important factor will be web traffic.

2- Location of ads or Placement,
Even your site has a high paying keywords, it does not really matter if the ads is not even noticeable by the visitors (Your ads is at the bottom of the page, for example). The best bet is to make it noticable to visitors. Try to follow Google heatmap for that.

3- High paying Keyword.
The third key would be the revenue you earn based on that particular keyword. The higher the paying keyword, the better your adsense revenue. Don't ask me what are the keywords, If I know them well, I would strike the lottery by now Laughing

Also don't forget colors! Colors can make a bid difference, do you blend them in, or do you want them to stand out!

I also think having ads that are precisely on topic to your site are important as well. For example with Yahoo! they do not have any ad inventory for some of my sites, so the ads are not really relevant to my content.

Yet the Yahoo! ads pay a lot, but nobody clicks on them. I would rather have 10 clicks at 25 cents a piece than 1 click at $1.50. So working on getting the right ad inventory for your content is also important.

Unluckily, yahoo does not accept anyone outside the US yet.
