Hi people, how are you all?

I'm Harry, a web developer and designer with 3-4 years professional experience and another 2 years freelance.

I'm looking to move to Cambodia in the next 6-8 months, but wanted to get a view of how web design and devlopment is doing at the moment, and speak to some interested like-minded people.

Very Happy

Hi Harry,

good to see you here, m8. Went to your site and understand you are pretty a young man with good skillset in web programming Smile

Going to Cambodia?, that's great. As far as i know, the foreigners in Cambodia is doing good with web development coz of the fact that there are quite a number of foreign NGOs in Cambodia and they need some development from time to time.

My best bet is to contact those NGOs in advance before going if you intend to make it a full time there. Otherwise, you may just try the luck on arrival.

Many other jobs in Cambodia available is to teach. In your case, you could teach programming or designing, I suppose.

Interested to speak to like-minded people? Well, at CambodiaXP, we have Mike (Indogo), Singachea and Me who is pretty active in this site.

Cheers m8.

Heheh thanks people Smile

I'm still sorting out the bigger details, but hopefully things will work out (e.g. I still need to learn Khmer).

I noticed it wasn't too active here, but i'll stick around Smile

Yah I've been looking for some "Learn Khmer at home" cd & book packages, but there seem to be a fairly limited selection.

Has anybody tried these before and could suggest one?
