For those graphic designers, which one do you prefer? Firework or illustrator?
For me, I am get used to Macromedia product, and hence firework is good enough for me. It has pretty much prebuilt tool to use to build quite pretty stuff.

I'd go for illustrator, but personally I have heard great things about fireworks aswell. Have you tried both out? If so let us know!

I personally favor Fireworks. I like how it works, and it is really user friendly. Illustrator can be confusing for first-timers.

True illustrator can be confusing for first- timers, but that's thesame with photoshop and it's a fantastic product aswell, so just try it out which you want!

heh lpxxfaintxx.. you are right bro! I can't get myself to use illustrator at all. I just find it too complicated... much much more complicated than photoshop..
Using firwork is a breeze for beginners

Well, I've never actully tried Fireworks, so I don't know what it's like. I do like Illustrator though. I think it's rather easy to use and all that. I used to use GoLive a long time ago - I thought it was pretty good. Is it still around?

In Fireworks you can create a design and JavaScript will be generated which you can then embed in your site's HTML without any programming. It's good fot buttons and logos creation.
