Flash Contest

Dearest Everyone,

As I see the topics, I know that everyone may be good at design Flash Animation. So why don't we make a place to compete all your our flash design such as flash game, flash action script, Effect, Advertise.... Flash animation now is popular in web design.

I'm also not good at that , but I hope you will share your knowledges and your experiences to me and everyone here. If everyone can share those are very good, but not to take the project from other website.

I would be very greate if everyone make it.

Yes, I think so. But we can do like the Code Contest in website planetsourcecode.com or Flashkit.com. They are not give money to the winner. They give some rewards like giving certificate, or some things like this website...

GuitarMan, do you have any ideas about that?

I think we should follow the planetsourcecode.com's policy. it's good and everyone can submit their project to for contest and the visitor will rate and give some comments to it.

It's a great idea to have some contests, but what i'm worrying about this site is that not so many people interested in competing. Look! this site focuses on the flash development, but I don't see much of technical stuffs. Perhaps we should find something else that attracts some developers to see that here is the creative place to play around before we can move to the next step.

Maybe the resulting flash files could be the prizes. Think about it, if a person creates some really useful piece of code that could be utilized by others or possibly sold?

The reward is that they are actually helping the community by passing on some useful product/ and or code that would be used.

idryl, i get what you mean too, but singachea has his solid point about lack of visitors here in the Flash Section.. hmm... have to bring in more visitors first before thinking of any more contests.

Hmm...the web seems very quiet at the moment generally.

Perhaps a forum section to display website / projects in flash or maybe free scripts to share/improve on.
After all if anyone is offering to pay for your abilities they will not be on here doing it themselves so lets just concentrate on learning and perfecting our craft and the results will hopefully sell themselves.
