It's always a good idea to try to make money from online if you have a website or intend to build one.
For small and medium website owner or even for blog owner, earning from your website or blog has never been any easier, thanks to Google Adsense.
Today, Let me share with you how can you get started with google adsense.
1- Have a Ready website
By ready website, I mean a site without " Under construction page" AND broking link. This is because Google will NOT approve your application.
2- Have your own domain name
It will show your professionalism. However, you always can get a FREE blog by Google i.e. blogspot.com and apply for your Google Adsense Account.
3- Apply for your account
Go to http://www.google.com/adsense and choose "Click to apply" . Do take your time to apply properly, as incompleted Form will make your site not accepted. I believe if you have a proper site and good content, your site will be easily accepted by Google. However, no porn, illegal website allowed by Adsense.
4- Add javascript to your site
After you have accepted by Google Adsense, simply copy the code provided by Google adsense to your site. It is pretty easy.
5- So how you make money from it?
You make money by showing ads as well as when ads get clicked. The money you can get varied from as low as 0.01 to as high as hmmm, I dont know, but may be more than 10US$ .. (have not get it myself).
6- Make sure you follow Term of Service
Once you get ban by Google Adsense, It's very very hard to get in back, so make sure you follow strictly to Adsense. Some terms are: Never ask your visitor to click on your ads.
7- How will you get paid?
You will get paid via Cheque, so no need to worry about PayPal account. You will be paid once your account reach 100US$.
Hope that helps to get you start with your online website

Thanks for the tips about getting your website approved by google. Not sure about the ad thing. I agree I think it would take ages to reach the payout. And there are a lot of programmes like this that are scams so be careful!

That's cool that they don't pay via PayPal. I mean, I like being able to use PayPal but sometimes those fees can get downright annoying.

Thanks for the advice guitarman - that's some really good information.
I really like paypal. It's just so darn convenient. It would be nice if there were no fees, but I don't think they are that bad.

I have an adsense attatched to an online blog that I was keeping, but the blog site has conveniently been having login problems and I can't access or post new work to my account. They aren't responding, either, to my questions regarding the technical difficulties.

then start a new one? Copy the articles from the old one and start a new one? Or have you market the site already?

Klaas, you're my hero Lol...silly me hadn't even thought about that. I was too busy grumbling to myself about the blog site and whatnot... didn't even think about being able to get all my articles back.
Thank you again! Maybe I should try a new site all together and do them up there. Hmmm
