email link in swf/exe

Hi guys this is my first post so I hope you can help me. I've built a Flash file that has a email button on it which uses the "getURL - mailto:..." The problem I'm getting is when i want to link the the email program the swf movie opens a browser and them the email app. As you can imagine this is a little irritating. It;s doing this because I'm trying to open the email app from the SWF movie and not a HTML embedded movie, which seems to make a difference.

Does anyone know of an actions script to get around this??

Perhaps a better approach would be to create a mail form within the swf rather than trying to launch an external one
