Nvu has been discussed a bit here, but I was hoping for a little more feedback. Has anyone here used it before? I downloaded it, and found it to be a nice freeware substitute for Dreamweaver.

I tried NVU a little. Must say that I think it is like a WYSIWYG editor and not some graphic program.
If you want to edit HTML (and you can't afford Dreamweaver), you can use PSPad or Crimsoneditor.
For free graphic design GIMP should work.
