Which browser should we choose?

There are many things you guys share about the techniques to design a webpage. However, I sometimes confronted the problems with the browser. For instance, when I use Mozillar FireFox to view some khmer webpages, it can't view in khmer while IE can translate. At first, I thought firefox was not good as IE.

When I tried the FireFox the first time, I found it was interesting since we could add more components on it. I have to say it's really useful. To show how good it is, let's see an example. I used FlashGot to add on firefox, and I can use "build gallery" option to build my gallery.

If I write: http://www.websiteName.com/picture[01-50].jpg, it will download the pictures from picture01.jpg to picture50.jpg into a single page.

Speed of loading a page is very important for internet addicts, and I found some guides to speed up firefox. Firstly you have to download and install firefox http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

At the address bar, type about:config
Scroll down until you see:

network.http.pipelining and change the value to true by double click on it
network.http.proxy.pipelining and change the value to true by double click on it
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set the value to 30 or 40

Lastly right-click anywhere and select New--> Integer. Name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set its value to 0. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves

This method will improve your firefox performance, and it will load the page much faster than before.

Since the world is imperfect, firefox is also imperfect. You may sometimes find that firefox doesn't view the page well as IE. This is due to the web-designers stick themselves to IE rather than firefox.

To solve this problem, having both firefox and IE could be advantageous.
