How is everyone dealing with the recent IE update relating to embedded media which includes flash?

What IE version are you talking about? IE 7.0? I have never tried it yet since i'm obssesive with FireFox already.

No this affects all versions of IE and will be included with all windows updates...you can read a bit about it here...

Basically microsoft lost a lawsuit relating to embedded media so flash/videos etc can not be viewed directly with IE (active x) so the way around this is to call the flash using an external javascript file otherwise a 'click to activate' notice will be displayed instead..crazy huh

I only use firefox but unfortunately many do not Sad
