I know there have been a couple of people who have mentioned doing freelance writing. Has anyone ever tried doing any ghost writing? That's where you write for someone but give up full rights on it and the buyer takes full credit for it.

No, I haven't done that type of work, but it's very common. I would do it, as long as it payed well.

I have not done true ghostwriting. Most webmasters are happy to just have you write in your own style. I have seen ads for article re-writing though, and that's a bit like ghost-writing.

Most of article writing jobs you get through forums are ghost writing. Typical prize is about 1c/word, so $5 for 500 word article on some general topic.
Specialized articles - where you have to have some real knowledge (not necessary to be professional though) are paid 3 - 20c/word and beyond.
The easiest way to find people who need articles is to contact (PM) some experienced writers and ask them...
